Welcome to our MacBook Black Friday & Cyber Monday deals live blog. The biggest retail event of the year is coming towards an end, but we're still hunting out the best MacBook deals. MacBook Cyber Monday is now here, and most of the deals we've seen over the weekend are still live. We'll be providing regular updates as the day progresses.

This year, we saw a new MacBook Air and 13-inch MacBook Pro, both with Apple's all-new, all-powerful M2 silicon chip. In previous years, money off such new models would be unheard of, however, we're seeing some impressive savings on these new MacBooks as well the more powerful 2021 MacBook Pro 14 and 16 and also the great value 2020 MacBook Air.

For more products, see our guide to the best Apple Black Friday (opens in new tab) 2022 deals, which covers a range of popular Apple devices. We're also running a Black Friday laptop deals blog and an Apple Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals blog, so you'll find more deals there. Below, you'll find quick links to the best Black Friday MacBook deals and Cyber Monday MacBook deals that we've seen so far. Below that, we'll be posting regular updates on standout deals.

Apple MacBook Pro 16-inch M1 Max chip

For our money, one of the best MacBook Pro Cyber Monday deals out there must be this scorcher, offering $450 off the 2021 16-inch MacBook Pro with an M1 Max chip. B&H Photo currently has it lower than anywhere else we can find it, reduced from $3,499 to $3,049 (opens in new tab). With its Apple M1 Max 10-Core Chip, 32GB Unified RAM / 1TB SSD, 32-Core GPU / 16-Core Neural Engine, it's a real beast of a machine for those who need real power.

If you're dead set on a MacBook, you'll see the best deals in the quick links above (and most of the posts below), but if you are undecided about your Apple device of choice, you could consider the Mac mini at a pretty decent discount at B&H Photo. Super-powerful for such a tiny piece of equipment, the specs of the MacBook Air 2020 M1 and the Mac mini are pretty similar, but the mini wins out on graphics cores – the MacBook Air has a 7-core GPU and the mini boasts a 8-core GPU or
Intel UHD Graphics 630 and support for Thunderbolt 3-enabled eGPUs. Plus it'll support two external displays.

Go for the 8GB Unified RAM / 512GB SSD model and you'll get a $50 discount, bringing it to $849.99 at B&H Photo right now (opens in new tab) (compared to $899.99 everywhere else we can find).

Hello, US friends! If you're just getting up on this Cyber Monday morning, we've got good news for you. There are lots of MacBook offers still live from the Black Friday weekend, along with a few new dedicated Cyber Monday deals, including this time-limited 'DealZone' Cyber Monday deal from B&H, where you can get $450 off the 13.3" MacBook Air M1 (2020) with 16GB RAM and a 1TB SSD, now $1,199 (was $1,649) (opens in new tab)

Here's a round-up of some of the other best US deals so far:

Best dock for MacBook: Kensington SD5700T

If you already own or have just gotten a MacBook, you will be very aware of one major problem: lack of ports. But fear not. Our number one favourite dock for MacBook Pro (opens in new tab), the Kensington Thunderbolt 4 Dual 4k Universal Laptop Docking Station, is a cool 23% off on Amazon right now, so can be got for £234.03 (was £302.03) (opens in new tab). With four Thunderbolt 4 ports (one up; three down), three fast USB-A ports, and one for 7.5W charging, it's generously specced, and also has extras like an SD slot, a Gigabit Ethernet port and an audio jack, as well as a 180W power supply that allows you to juice up multiple devices at once. It's difficult to imagine needing much more than that.

MAX POWER!

This update may or may not be inspired by the very strong cup of coffee I've recently obliterated, but Cyber Monday has some powerful MacBook Pro offers going already. If you've taken a look at the 2021 MacBook Pro with the M1 Pro chip and decided that it just isn't quite enough, somehow, Apple have kindly foreseen that scenario, with the ludicrous M1 Max version of that same laptop, stuffing it with a 32-core GPU, 32GB RAM and presumably the ability to see through time. And you can get a Cyber Monday deal on it on both sides of the Atlantic. In the US, you can get the MacBook Pro M1 Max for $3,049 (was $3,499) at B&H Photo (opens in new tab), and UK peeps can get the same piece of kit for £2,969 (was £3,299) at Amazon (opens in new tab)

Good morning Apple enthusiasts! We're back online and ready to see what great deals the tech giant has in store for us this Cyber Monday. Here's a reminder that Apple are currently running a deal on all their major products where you get a gift card worth up to £250 with any qualifying purchase (opens in new tab). No, the products themselves aren't technically on sale but you can either use the gift card to take money off the initial purchase or save it for a later order.

We'll be taking a short break from the blog, but we'll be here throughout Cyber Monday to keep you updated on the status of all the best MacBook deals. The great news so far is that Cyber Monday has started in the US, and all of the US MacBook deals that we saw over Black Friday are still live. No, there are no bigger savings, but then we weren't really expecting there to be since most of these are already record low prices. These are the best picks:

Cyber Monday deal

If you're reading our MacBook Cyber Monday blog, you've probably already decided that you want a MacBook. You might even know exactly which MacBook you need. If that's the case, we've made it very easy for you – above this post you'll find direct links to the best prices on each of the current range of MacBooks in the US and UK.

But for anyone still trying considering alternatives, one of the biggest Window-s running competitors for MacBooks are Dell's XPS range of laptops, which come in 13, 15 (pictured) and 17-inch models. We should point out, then, that there are some great Cyber Monday deals on these too, which might just sway your decision.

If you don't need the power of an M1 Pro MacBook, my recommendation would be to go to the latest MacBook Air. With an M2 chip, it's no slouch and should be handle most people's needs. Amazon has some good deals here too, with $150 off the base 8GB RAM, 256GB SSD setup – now $1,049 (opens in new tab) and also the 512GB configuration – now $1,349 (opens in new tab).

MacBook Cyber Monday deal

The 16-inch MacBook Pro below might be a little too big for people who want a laptop they can use on the move. But you can also get a record low price on its 14-inch sibling, which boasts all the same specs (albeit a smaller battery so slightly shorter battery life) for a cheaper price. Amazon still has its US Black Friday MacBook deal running on the 512GB and 1TB M1 Pro 14-incher as we enter Cyber Monday.

Cyber Monday MacBook Pro deal

To recap on how things are looking for Cyber Monday MacBook deals in the US, pretty much all of the Black Friday MacBook deals that we've seen over the weekend are STILL available. I'm expecting prices to largely stay the same over Cyber Monday.

For example, Amazon's been running a record low price on the 2021 MacBook Pro 16 (opens in new tab) since it began its early Black Friday deals a whole week ahead of the Black Friday itself. And as we approach Cyber Monday, the deal's still live. Considering this is the biggest discount we've seen on a MacBook of the latest generation, we don't think it will get any better.

Apple MacBook 2021

Want one of the biggest and most powerful MacBook? Want a record-low-equalling discount on it, too? We can make both those dreams come true right NOW. The 16-inch MacBook Pro with the M1 Max chip, 32GB RAM and 1TB SSD has been reduced from $3,499 to $3,099.99, a $400 saving (opens in new tab).

Anker PowerExpand 5-in-1 Thunderbolt 4 Mini Dock

If you're a member of Amazon Prime (and who isn't, these days?) you can get a nice Cyber Monday deal on a dock that's featured on our list of best docks for MacBook Pro. Amazon's Prime saving brings it into lowest ever price territory, reduced from $199.99 to $149.99 (opens in new tab)

Apple gift card deal

Apple is running an offer, which sounds great but needs some digging into. You can get a $250/£250 Apple gift card with selected MacBooks. Of course, with deals running almost everywhere, it's going to be touch and go on whether it saves you money vs buying elsewhere (and you have to want to spend money at Apple later, too, of course).

One instance where it absolutely saves you money in the UK is on the M1 MacBook Pro 14-inch 2021. Full price at £1,899, the gift card will bring the price down (sort of) to £1,649 (opens in new tab) at Apple, whereas the same model is reduced to £1,725 at Amazon (opens in new tab).

However, the same is not true for US customers, as Amazon has that model at a much lower price, reduced from $1,999 to $1,599 (opens in new tab). But fear not, as Apple's deal on the MacBook Pro M2 2022 with 512GB space is the better one, reducing the price from $1,499 to $1,249 with the gift card (opens in new tab). (Amazon has it at $1,450).

It's worth a peruse yourself to explore the options, though, as Apple also has a decent trade-in deal.

(opens in new tab)

If you've bought yourself a nice new MacBook recently, you'll likely be very keen to keep it as nice and shiny as it was when you opened the box. And with the large market of protective sleeves that has sprung up around MacBooks, you're clearly not the only one. But instead of interchangeable, characterless, mass-produced, questionable-quality sleeves you can get on sites like [REDACTED] or [REDACTED], I like going for something that makes me feel a bit more special. One of the places to do that is to scour Etsy for custom-made MacBook sleeves (opens in new tab), and one of the highest-rated makers can personalise your sleeve for 40% off right now, from £49.76 (was £82.94+) (opens in new tab)

A Logitech Cyber Monday deals image with a Logitech MX Master 3s for Mac mouse on a colourful background

Remember when we told you the best mouse for Mac users isn't from Apple (opens in new tab)? Of course you do. We know you religiously read all our reviews, as they are the best around, after all. Well, that mouse, the Logitech MX Master 3S for Mac, is £20 off at Amazon, now £99.99 (was £119.99) (opens in new tab). We wholly recommend this excellent ergonomic mouse, as it's especially suitable for creatives, with its customisable formatting and comfortable handshake-like hold. And with £20 off, it's a relative bargain!

UK shoppers have a good range of Amazon Black Friday MacBook deals to choose from, including on the latest MacBook Air. The M2 13.6-inch MacBook Air with 8GB RAM and 256GB SSD storage is still 11% off on Amazon UK, now £1,249 £1,109 (opens in new tab), and still in stock, so if you're shopping for the latest MacBook Air model, this is still among the best Apple deals around, and one that's unlikely to get cheaper as Cyber Monday offers start coming through.

MacBook Air Black Friday

Good morning! We'll be continuing the hunt for offers today, as retailers shift from Black Friday into Cyber Monday. We hope that means some standout Cyber Monday MacBook deals.

For now though, we'll drop this in here. If you are happy with a refurbished model, there's an excellent deal on a 2020 MacBook Air M1 at Amazon in the US, now just $669.99 reduced from $739.99 (opens in new tab). A refurbished model from a decent retailer is an excellent way of saving some cash, and this is that deal.

MacBook Cyber Monday deals

We'll be taking a break from the blog for a few hours soon, but the MacBook Black Friday deals – and MacBook Cyber Monday deals – continue. We'll be back tomorrow to continue searching, but based on what we're seeing so far, I'm not expecting any new Cyber Monday MacBook deals, but rather a continuation of the deals we're already seeing.

Just to sum up our favourite options so far: if you need big power for video editing or 3D work, then I'd go for either the 2021 MacBook Pro 14 (M1 Pro for $1,999 $1,599.99 at Amazon  (opens in new tab) or, if you want a larger screen, the 2021 MacBook Pro 16 (M1 Pro, 2021): $2,499 $1,999.99 at Amazon (opens in new tab).

If you don't need such a powerful laptop, but want a super sleek, portable device for everyday work, media and some less demanding creative work, I'd go for the 2022 M2 MacBook Air: $1,199 $1,049 at Amazon (opens in new tab).

MacBook Black Friday deal

Amazons seems very keen to promote this Black Friday – and now Cyber Monday – MacBook deal (Image credit: Apple / Amazon)

At the other end of the spectrum, the cheapest MacBook you can get is the 2020 M1 MacBook Air, and there are some good MacBook Black Friday deals – or Cyber Monday deals on this too.

I say Cyber Monday because that's what Amazon's now calling it in the US. It's transitioned from Black Friday to Cyber Monday. Are its Cyber Monday MacBook deals better than its Black Friday MacBook deals? Well, they're actually exactly the same. It seems that all of the MacBook discounts we've been seeing over the past couple of days are still live (on configurations that still have stock) and no new deals have appeared.

The MacBook Air 2020 is specifically flagged as a Cyber Monday MacBook deal, reduced by $200 from $999 to $799 (opens in new tab). This is actually the same deal we've been seeing all weekend, but it's still a good one.

MacBook Black Friday deal

Need more powerful specs? Despite being over a year old now, the 2021 M1 Pro and M1 Pro Max MacBooks are still Apple's best in terms of speed and performance. You're in luck there because there are Black Friday MacBook deals on Apple's higher-end 14-inch and 16-inch MacBooks too.

In fact, our pick as the best Black Friday MacBook deal of all remains a massive $500 off MacBook Pro 16 at Amazon: reduced from $2,499 to $1,999 (opens in new tab). That price is for the base specs: the M1 Pro chip, 16GB RAM and 512GB SSD. There's $500 off the 1TB configuration too.

MacBook Black Friday deal

I should point out that the Black Friday MacBook Pro 13 deal we mentioned further below is for a pretty heft configuration, not the base setup. That deal at B&H Photo gets you 16GB of RAM and 1TB of memory.

If you don't need those specs, but you want the most affordable MacBook Pro 13, you're probably best going for this year's M2 laptop. Amazon has the 2022 MacBook Pro 13 from $1,299 $1,149 (opens in new tab). That base configuration gives you 8GB RAM and 256B SSD.

One of our favourite new Apple release is the MacBook Air 2022 (M2) as its delivers fantastic speed and power in a slim design. Right now, get the new Apple 13.6" MacBook Air (M2, Midnight) for $2,099 $1,949 (opens in new tab) – a dramatic Black Friday savings of $150 on the new MacBook Air.

This is model is kind of overpowered but it means it will last you a long time (the lower spec model sold out earlier today, and this offer is in high demand). This MacBook Air build includes 24GB of memory, 10 core GPU, and a 1TB SSD. It's beast, and a little cheaper today.

If you want a MacBook Pro, you're going to be paying a Pro price. Luckily, there's a smashing Apple Black Friday deal live right now from B&H photo who have discounted the 13-inch MacBook Pro (M1, 2020) down to $1,399 from $1,899 (opens in new tab). This is an excellent saving of $500 and might just be the best we've seen yet for a MacBook this Black Friday!

A product shot of the MATEIN laptop backpack on a colourful background

Listed in our guide to the best accessories for MacBook, there's currently 28% off the MATEIN travel laptop bag at Amazon (opens in new tab) right now, taking it from £29.99 to £21.58. Protecting your MacBook is essential when taking it with you to work on the go, and this protective bag doubles up as a stylish backpack that fits up to the 15.6-inch MacBooks!

If you're not keeping up with the great deals in our other live blogs (which you totally should check out), we've just found out that Amazon has cut a modest $5 off the Apple Magic Mouse taking it from $79 down to $74 (opens in new tab). No, it's not the biggest Apple Black Friday saving, but it's the best price we're seeing on the Magic Mouse right now compared to other retailers. Thanks, Amazon!

An Apple MacBook Pro deal

This may not be for everyone, but if you're a digital creative (photographer, video editor, etc), and you're looking for your next laptop for the next few years, the 16-inch MacBook Pro

There's a brilliant deal on this MacBook Pro M1 Max, with a 16-inch screen, 32-core GPU and 32GB/1TB. Head over to KRCS and where it has dropped down from £3,299 to £2,969.10 (opens in new tab).

Apple MacBook Air 2020

(opens in new tab)

This one has been around for a while, so this isn't exactly new, but definitely worth repeating. The 2020 M1 MacBook Air is currently £2 off its lowest recorded price of £875. Right now, over at Amazon, you can save £122, and get the MacBook Air (M1, 2020) at ao for £877 (opens in new tab).

The MacBook Pro Black Friday deal.

Searching the interwaves this glorious Black Saturday, we're struck by a few things... first, many of the MacBook Pro deals that we've been highlighting all last night and Black Friday proper are pretty much the same. We will of course report the minute something new comes up, but right now it's worth reiterating a couple of zingers that we really like the look of.

Over at Amazon, you can get a great deal on the 2021, 14-inch MacBook Pro, which comes with the M1 Pro chip, 16GB RAM and 512GB SSD, down from £1,899 to £1,725, saving you £174 (opens in new tab).

If this is a desktop alternative for you, and you're going to be doing your creative work on it, then you could also get the 1TB SSD model of the same Pro – down from £2,399 to £2,105, saving you £294 (opens in new tab)

Kensington docking station

Given the (ahem...annoying) lack of USB ports in a MacBook, a dock is deemed essential by many. And our number one choice of dock (see our best docks for MacBook Pro guide for confirmation) is currently at its lowest price ever on Black, erm, Saturday. yup, the Kensington Thunderbolt docking station has had 13 per cent shaved off, meaning you can snap it up for £206 rather than £236 at Amazon (opens in new tab). A practical saving on a practical bit of kit.

Apple iMac 2021

Don't you worry MacBook lovers, it may be Saturday but the deals cup continues to runneth over. It's just about light here in the UK, and we're ready to hunt down the best prices on MacBooks today.

We're actually going to kick things off with an iMac deal. Yes, we know that's not necessarily why you're here but maybe your mind can be changed by this pretty decent price on the 2021 iMac, with its glorious 24-inch screen. It currently has 11 per cent off, bringing it from £1,649 to £1,469 at Amazon (opens in new tab). The lowest we've seen this go for is £1,363 so it's quite close to record-low territory. Different deals are available on each of the colours in the range.

Sure you want a MacBook? Standby for more offers coming soon...

John Lewis has some great savings on various MacBooks at the moment, including the 2022 MacBook Air 13.6-inch (512GB SSD, 8GB RAM) for £1,379 (opens in new tab), saving £124 off the RRP. Considering this MacBook only came out a few months ago, this is a great chance to pick one up at a lighter price!

If you're a creative that works with a lot of extra devices when using your laptop, you can very quickly run out of ports. This is especially apparent with MacBooks as they only have 2-3 USB ports. To combat this, a multi-port is the way to go and right now you can head on over to Amazon to get the Satechi multi-port adaptor for $79.99 $59.99 (opens in new tab). As well as three USB ports, this adaptor features Micro/SD readers, a 4K HDMI slot, USB-C charging and a Gigabit Ethernet slot.

This impressive saving is an Apple Black Friday deals win! Best Buy is currently selling the 14-inch MacBook Pro (M1, 16GB RAM) in silver discounted from £1,999 down to $1,599 (opens in new tab), saving a whopping $400.

One thing we know is MacBooks are expensive. And when you own something expensive, you'll want to protect it. So, why not grab yourself a new case to house your new (or old) laptop?

This Herschel Supply Co case is great quality and has a brilliant discount of 51 per cent, reduced from £45 to £22 at Herschel Supply Co (opens in new tab) in the UK and $45 to $31 at Herschel Supply Co in the US (opens in new tab). It comes in a few colours and patterns including black (obviously), pink, grey and some other patterns.

Like things on the powerful side? There's a brilliant deal on this MacBook Pro wiht a 16-inch screen, 10-core CPU, 16-core GPU and 16GB/512GB. It's been price-dropped from £2,399 to £2,159.10 at KCRS (a premium Apple reseller) (opens in new tab).

Hi there and happy Black Friday deal-hunters. We are back, searching for the top MacBook deals out there on this auspicious day. Top of our list is this rather surprising deal on a brand-new MacBook Pro. When we say brand-new, we mean 2022, this very year. You can get the MacBook Pro with its 13.2-inch Retina display, 8GB RAM and 256GB SSD for a discount of 11 per cent. This brings the newest Pro down from £1,349 to just £1,195 at Amazon (opens in new tab) – the cheapest we've seen out there. Given new Apple products very rarely have discounts, we are all in for this one.

Cheap MacBook Air deals

The MacBook Air (M1, 2020) is currently down from $999 to $899 over at B&H Photo (opens in new tab)

This is my current favourite laptop of all time – the MacBook Air (M1, 2020), and it's got a decent $100 knocked off the price at the moment. This is not the best deal we've seen on the portable and fast laptop, but such is the quality of the MacBook, we thought it worth telling you about it.

2021 MacBook Pro

When the 2021 MacBook Pro was released this time last year, we were so impressed by its design and power that we called it too good to be true. And on Amazon US, you can grab the 512GB version for 20% off, down from $1999 to $1599 (opens in new tab).

A MacBook Pro 14-inch (2021) against a white backdrop, displaying an abstract blue desktop background

The MacBook Pro 14-inch (M1, 2021) is a really rather good laptop. There are already some early Black Friday deals on Amazon for this model, both the 8-core model, now £1,725 (was £1,899) (opens in new tab), and the even more rapid 10-core one, now £2,122 (was £2,399) (opens in new tab). It's consistently been one of our favourite laptops, be it for photo-editing, video-editing, programming or simply watching a good movie, and with Apple being Apple, bagging any kind of discount on one is always a good get.

The 2021 model MacBook Air M1 sits on an orange background.

Over in the US, you can save a massive $200 on the 2020 M1 MacBook Air (opens in new tab), bringing the price down from $999 to $799. It might not be the newest model, but that M1 chip is as future-proof as they come.

The MacBook Air from 2022, opened up to display the screen.

The 2022 M2 MacBook Air is one of the best Apple laptops money can buy, and right now, Amazon UK is offering 10% off, bringing it down from £1249 to £1119 (opens in new tab). Which, for a four month old laptop, is pretty awesome.

MacBook Air 2020

(opens in new tab)

Over in the UK, there's a top deal, again, on the 2020 M1 MacBook Air. The lowest recorded we price we have for this device is £875, which was back in May 2021 on Amazon. We've not seen it drop to that price again since, however ao.com has it available now for just a fraction more. Saving £122, you can get the MacBook Air (M1, 2020) at ao for £877 (opens in new tab) – just £2 more than the cheapest its ever been.

We've said it before, and we'll say it again, this model MacBook Air is worth every single penny.

MacBook Air

(opens in new tab)

There's no bones about it, Apple's laptops aren't cheap. But, when you consider how long these devices will last you, even the most expensive versions offer great value. So when you see a deal that knocks a huge $200 off a 2020 MacBook Air (opens in new tab), you want to snap it asap. Now just $799, this is the lowest ever recorded price for this model, and the cheapest you'll find it brand new in the US.

A few of us are lucky to use one of these very devices every day, and trust us when we say it's an investment you won't regret.
